The Sako TRG is purpose-built for long-range target shooting or sniping. Its cold hammer-forged super target grade barrel is made especially for those tasks. The free-floating barrel is available in blued or phosphatized finish.
Action frame is cold hammer-forged from special alloyed steel, stiff and sturdy for extra rigidity. The receiver is stabilized with three fastening screws.

The Sako TRG rifles are supplied with fully adjustable, 2-stage target trigger unit which features quick and reliable safety lever inside the trigger guard. The safety locks both the trigger mechanism and bolt handle, as well as blocks the firing pin. The trigger is adjustable in length and horizontal and vertical pitch. The entire trigger group can be changed without disassembling the rifle.
